Karl Norris Awardについて

Karl Norris Awardは近赤外分光法の実用化あるいは技術普及に多大な貢献をした者に送られる日本発の国際賞です。この賞は静岡シブヤ精機株式会社（旧ファンテック）のご支援により、第19回（2003年）に設けられました。以降、毎年行われる近赤外フォーラムにて授賞式ならびに受賞講演が行われ、第27回（2011年）までに9名の方が受賞されました。以降、Karl Norrisの名を冠した賞はICNIRS主催の国際賞：Karl Norris Medal へと委譲され、現在は募集しておりません。
