We are welcoming all kinds of research dealing with NIRS and its applications. The tentative sessions are as follows;

Type of submission

Oral Presentation

Selection of oral presentation will be based on originality, innovation and state of development of the research (not a review article). Approximately, 20 Oral presentations will be selected. The result of oral acceptation will be sent to each author from August 10, 2016. Oral presentations are scheduled to last 12 minutes, 10 minutes of presentation, 2 minutes for question and computer operation. All oral presentation should be in MS PowerPoint format (ppt, pptx). The file must be submitted at least 2 hours prior to the presentation. Speaker can bring the file with a USB memory to Media counter or e-mail it to .

Poster Contribution

The result of poster acceptation will be sent to each author by August 10, 2016. An area of 90 cm (W) x 130 cm* (H) will be provided for each poster (A0 portrait size is recommended). Push pins will be provided at the registration desk. (*The height of the panel is 210cm.)

Abstract Submission

Please submit your 1-page abstract (Download template here icon-word) through online submission form during the period of June 1 - July 31, 2016. Please use the *.doc or *.docx format for submission.

Full article submission

Once receiving the notice of acceptance, please submit your full article through online submission form during the period of Aug 12 - Sep 16, 2016. You are invited to submit a full article on A4 size paper within 2 pages (in MS word format).

File The manuscript submitted must be in digital format. Please use word file (.doc or .docx file).
Length The limitation for length is varied depending on the type of presentation. Kindly follows the instruction to allow the smooth preparation of the Proceedings;
  1. Keynote speaker, Invited speakers, JCNIRS award winner: Maximum 10 pages
  2. NIR Advance Award winners: Maximum 6 pages
  3. Semi-invited speakers: Maximum 6 pages
  4. Company presentation:
    • Platinum: 4 pages
    • Gold: 2 pages
    • Silver: 1 page (without presentation)
  5. Oral presentation: 2 pages
  6. Poster presentation: 2 pages
Contents Please provide Title, Author and Institution with e-mail address, Abstract, Keywords and the content of your research, especially (a) Introduction, (b) Materials and Method and (c) Results and Discussion.
Page setup The manuscript must be prepared onto A4 page with the marginal setup of 2.5 cm for all sides (top, bottom, left and right). Single line space must be used. Skip one line between (a) Title and Author, (b) Institution and Text (First Heading).
Fonts Please use Times New Roman. Please refer to the following instruction;
  1. Title: 16pt, bold, centering;
  2. Author: 12pt, bold, centering
  3. Institution: 12pt, regular, centering
  4. Heading A: 10pt, bold, left alignment
  5. Heading B: 10pt, bold, italic, left alignment
  6. Text: 10pt, regular, left alignment
  7. Captions: 10pt, regular, left alignment
  8. Table: 10pt, regular, left alignment (Column name should be bolded)
Figure/Graph Figure and/or graph must be inserted on separated page (Page 2) or under or over the text. (Please do not insert Figure or Table in between text). Caption must be provided under each Figure and over each Table.
References Please follow the instruction for preparing reference of Journal of Near Infrared Spectroscopy. The Author guideline is available at:

However, if the space is not enough, the title of reference can be omitted.
